Good day, everybody. This is Douglas Cohen here from Peak Legal Services, LLC. I haven’t talked to you in a while so I thought I would send out another update.

It’s been a really busy week. I’ve been in almost every Metro County: Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, Broomfield, Gilpin, Jefferson, Denver… I think I hit them all.

Overall, it was a really good week for my clients. I had an elderly gentleman who got a great disposition on a very serious matter that will allow him to avoid prison and any other serious time.

Then, a woman who was charged with a felony theft in one of the casinos up in Black Hawk ended up with only three months probation and some public service.

These are more examples of hard-working clients and DAs who are willing to listen and some hard work on our part.

I will say that I’m still picking away at some other cases this week that weren’t as successful but we do not have the results in yet and we’re still hoping for the best. That’s what I like about this job: fighting for my clients the best I can.
